Its over a year
now that the former Autonomic province of Serbia
Kosovo called out their independence. And 10
years since the NATO attacked Kosovo.
What is changed?
Besides there is now a new Pristina and even a
sort of highway of 8 km and lots of new
buildings, Kosovo does have big problems still
not solved. Electric power is still a problem
and many times there are power failures. Water
is also a problem and during the night water
supply are being stopped.
I guess the largest problem is that the
government does not set their priorities. You
have a impression that you walk in a sort of
extra state of the USA while Europe is near and
if you ask me there were the government should
look at and set their priorities. On a question
asked to Dr
Sc. Idriz Vehapl minister ofagriculture,
forestry and Rural development, what the budget
was for 2009 he has answered me 100,000 euro!
And that what I mean with setting priorities as
Agriculture is the largest change Kosovo has and
they should invest just there! Feeding its own
people would have a positive effect on Kosovo
its bad trade balance and would be a future
change for export.
The other large
problem is corruption! Public tenders that are
not really public and a recent tender which was
set for 9 million was not won by the largest
company with the lowest offer but to the
smallest company which was far-out the most
expensive. After the tender they even got 2
million over the maximum tender amount!
Than there is a low standard still and people
have to live with welfare pension of less than
100 euro a month.
But in general young people are ready to take
over Kosovo and they are well educated and do
speak lots of languages.
Call centers for the German, Italian, English
market are being explored and doing good.
But the clock is ticking for Kosovo as in some
years they can’t aspect more financial help from
the West and Kosovo should learn fast to stand
on its own feet! And this special on its own
economic feet! As independence means just that!
Open letter to Greece ( By
Henry Koning) Nice
country you have and I love your wine and food. But please stop all this
boolshit about Skopje
and Macedonia.
Aleksandar
spoke Greek? No he did not and you all know that
he learned Greek language when he occupied you.
And why don’t you protest
about the USAtown called
Macedonia (IL and OH)
and all their people calling themselves
Macedonians?
Come people wake up and
better settle your problems with Turkey and their 86 millions people
instead worrying about a small country with two
millions
There are so many other more important issues to
settle such as global warming that can
make a end of all our history. About
millions of people dying of hunger or AIDS.
About violent against children and woman all
over the world About extremist and their
means of terrorism that's a serious danger to
the free world!
Come
and have a nice beer in
Skopje, sing a song and don’t worry
all the money you spend goes for 70% back to
Athens
as the most big companies in Macedonia are Geek
companies.

In Macedonia, it's easy to find the latest
Hollywood blockbuster -- the DVD can be bought

typically for around 1.5 euros. At that price,
the version is sure to be a pirated one. Legally
